Congratulations! I see she is already working on perfecting her aero position in the wind tunnel there.
Nerve wracking when they come early. We have twins among our relatives who broke speed records to get here. Happy to say eventually they grow up to make as much racket as the rest of them.
She is born only 2 miles from the uci headquarters in Aigle, Switzerland. She wants to do a few laps of the velodrome already.
She's smaller than most of our first daughter babies/dolls.Nerve wracking when they come early.
They were some early concerns her very fast breathing speed would exhaust her but everything soon got back to normal. She handled it like a boss. Her mother was great too.
Props to the whole team of the Aigle public hospital. They were so pros while at the same time very kind and focused on how we felt. They made everything they could so we could feel at home and comfortable while dealing with all the technical details at the same time.
It's now time to get some sleep, she took us by surprise and I was still doing some painting in her room yesterday. Lots of small things to do in the next few days.
Thanks for the kind words
She will be out of the incubator and home making you lose sleep before you know it.
Congratulations.
Having two girls is great fun. Our two, 6 and 3, have great times playing together.
Two weddings. Start saving!
Congrats! Hopefully she's home with you in no time.
Auk's words to live by:
Blow up and pin a picture of M. Bartoli on your wall. When you achieve that position, stop. Until then, stretch, ride, stretch, ride, eat less, and ride more.
My daughter was surely one of the best things that ever happened to me. Now, twenty-three, married and independent, the relationship keeps getting richer and deeper. I wish you the same.
Congratulations.
Congratulations! Best wishes to you all!
GO!

Congratulations! Is that the new Rapha winter hat?
Thanks everyone. She spent less than 24h in the incubator. The girls should be coming home next wednesday.

Skinny legs and all. What a blessing she's coming home soon.
