Not a lot of bike work this week. An LD start and a jig to drill 3/8" drain holes in bike racks prior to hot-dip galvanizing for my day job. It's nice to see something go from drawing to completed.

Started a CX disc brake bike with a 44mm ID headtube which needed a new HT tower on my jig.

I'd be lost without a lathe

I rescued a nice pantographing machine from the corner of a workshop. Thought it was going to be a fix-up job but turned out to be practically complete and perfect after I cleaned the rust off.

I had the idea to use one of my water jet cut headtube badges as a template to make a copy of my Kumo cloud. It worked pretty well!
Now I can use the brass copy plate to engrave the cloud on things

Been absent for a while spending several weeks getting the paint facility online. Finally started debugging yesterday including working with masks for the first time. I haven't painted in over 3 years. I hope I can get it back!

Seems I've teased people about this one for long enough, it's time to lift the curtain.

What I like about the german language ist that you easily can connect words and create new ones. This frame is called Tourenrennrad. :-)

Some stuff from the week. Tomorrow it is a day in front of a blast cabinet.

This is a super duper ultrasonic cleaner. I need to replace the gasket on the circulating pump and then it is ready to go. Drop a complete tube set and all its bits in one shot. Can't wait to not buy more acetone!

Next week will be a few actual bikes that can be ridden instead of all these random pictures of frames.

    Thanks for looking.
