Re: Seiko
Possibly inappropriate, so feel free to delete if so, but my Yobokies Seiko pilot mod has been collecting dust since I picked up my Stowa Flieger. It's running a bit fast, but any watch tech should be able to regulate it. Any interest?

Ditto. I have one of these little gems from Yobokies that is not seeing much use since I found a XW Tsunami. I'd love for somebody from V'Salon to have it. If there is more interest out there hit me with a PM, yo.

395.00 + postage.
PM me if you want the info to the person that does the mod.

Re: Seiko
That's awesome. I was wearing a similar green NATO strap on my dive watch yesterday. Love the look.

Was never really into NATO style until I saw them on PVD watches.. love how it's so minimal and the bands are inexpensive so you can change accordingly !

Re: Seiko
They're also really comfortable. I wear them all through the summer and keep the steel bracelet for when they weather is cooler. I've even some on really classic dress watches that look great.

Re: Seiko
I've settled on a Maratac Pilot full-sized as my daily wear, so I'm going to be selling my mid-sized Pilot. It's the pre-2013 style with the pointer at 12:00; used but in excellent condition; will come with a few bands.
Figured I'd throw it out there to VSalon first. Let me know if you're interested.

Re: Seiko
Not sure this fits the affordable class but what the heck it's nice looking:
Diver, Fulcrum (1001) - Fulcrum - Professional Series
New version of the LRRP. I like my LRRP but its still too big so looking at the mid-size Omega.... These MkII pieces are very nice though.
Can move this the "not so affordable" watches if desired :-)

I love my LRRP as well. I've got huge wrists so mine looks a tad small. I really wish MKII would offer something with the IIA face again.
Anyone else seen the DLC Seafighter on Ebay? Mmmmm tasty.

Re: automatic/mechanical watches on a budget.
Surprised nobody brought up Glycine (unless I missed it). I have this one. Unlike many large watches which are only large for style, the Glycine is large for a reason; the movement is a stop watch movement and requires the real estate. This one can be purchased for under $700. glycine.jpg
