When will Coconino Tours open up shop? I have a friend who went steelhead fishing once with Jeff Lyons as his guide. He said that trip was more fun then actually ordering/getting his LyonSport bike.

My favorite as well! Looking at the pics, I'm trying to decide who had a better time the humans or the Osa.

    Right on Steve!

At least until Oct, when we will go again - it just get better every time as you meet more people, and learn all the tricks, and my Spanish just improves every time, and I've been going for 25yrs now......
She sure rocked it, and provided lots of "pretty" singing......and ate some really weird shit off the beach........and sang with the seal lions, they were quite taken aback!
Driving the salt flat roads on the Pacific coast from Punta Ascencion to Abreojos & Campo Rene at 60+MPH was a BLAST.
Damn good people down there, salt of the earth, do anything for ya & you do it back.
Lots of folks down there know the Pinche Chevy & Denise y Estevan by now & love us!
Anyone notice the pic of Dave Weins & Susan DeMattei? She walked down the beach & I said "Sue?" - haven't seen them in years, so cool, we waxed about the golden days of racing & people we knew.
Missed Mike Ferrentino by one day, sadly.
Tuna & lobsters right out of the ocean.......Did I miss out on anything?

Love the pictures. The cocktail with the lady in the Jagermeister apron is my favorite.

    Not a damn thing.

Though, in your absence Lionel purchased at least 7 new bikes; orange and perhaps seafoam in color.

Looks like an amazing time! I love the pictures of Osa singing as well (in the car, on the kayak, whatevs...).

My first mexican vacation didn't quite go as planned so I'm not so keen on returning anytime soon, but these pictures are definitely making me think twice.

Mexico, like the USA, is totally sound as long as you keep out of trouble spots.
You will not find me in TJ, Ixtapa, Mazatlan or Juarez, but then again I'm not going to S. Phoenix, E. W/DC, Compton, parts of PDX & Seattle, or any of a ton of places in the USA either..........
Baja is great, BCS only holds .17 of Mexico's population, but had 1/4 of it's coastline, and some districts re up to 77% protected park status........perfect place to go, really....

I'll never be as good as those guys!
The ospreys were off the hook, we saw several hundred of them, they are much loved and people go out of their way to give them nice nest spots and keep them from getting electrocuted - they will fly several miles inland to find the highest spot in the desert to nest, and often that is an electric pole as a cardon cactus......

My troubles were more or less of my own making because of a typical stupid tourist mistake, and I take full ownership of my part of it, but it still rankles a bit. I'll probably get back to mexico at some point though...

Well, not that I'm implying that you do so, but, many Americans get in trouble down there by thinking they can act in ways that they would not at home......
If you are open and show some smarts and make an effort to communicate and bridge the cultural gap you will be rewarded immensely!
