I saw this bike today at the National Championship CX race. Very cool machine. The owner's a great bloke and a pretty handy rider too.

Thank you sir! Really enjoyed that whole build. I have to say I'm kind of jealous of his bunny hopping skills!

Re: Zukas Cycles
Just got my Zukas back from a little frame work and repaint.. Wanted a pump peg and the rear der. routing a little different.. Nate is changing up his logo a little bit and some of the details he added are absolutely amazing.. IE: hand painted eyes on the rabbit on the fork!

Re: Zukas Cycles
Just got this email.
Hi Nate! Adam from Cycle EXIF here. Not sure whether Jay has told you but the cyclocross bike you built for him and was photographed by Andy Rogers has been selected to be featured in the 2014 Cycle EXIF Custom Bicycle Calendar... If that's OK with you! I'd be honoured if you'd agree, they're beautiful shots of an awesome bike! Cheers Nate, looking forward to hearing from you, Adam
Hell yeah I agree!

Recent addition to the family. A late 20's Sloan & Chace horizontal mill that I bought from world famous Peter Weigle! He had this since the late 70's and I'm excited to have it as part of my machines to build frames knowing it's history in the custom frame building world.

Re: Zukas Cycles
Heron repair. Customer OK after being hit by a car but major damage to the TT. This was suppose to be his last ever frame and was heart broken thinking it was destroyed. Should be happy to have his baby back!

Re: Zukas Cycles
Hey Nate,
Your work is looking good. That last job looks like a ton of work and came out nicely. Building from scratch is much easier than trying to fix existing frames huh?.
Can you tell me what's up with the grey drop-outs faces I am seeing on your frames? Looks like raw media blasted steel?
Thanks, hope to see you at Ballers.

Re: Zukas Cycles
I was going to ask the same thing, isn't easier and faster to build a new frame compared to fixing this one ?

Re: Zukas Cycles
Nate - how'd you get the tube pieces out of the lugs, heat or grinding?
Love that orange!
