The carbon bike is gorgeous. Love the clean straight lines. I grow weary of the crop of curly-Q carbon bikes out there. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should.
About the weight limit: aren't you worried about scaring folks away? At 180, I know I'd think twice about buying a bike with so little "freeboard" specifically stated as a limit by the company. I know there's a lot of wiggle room in that number, but when you state it, people tend to listen and look elsewhere. It might be nice to have another steel bike at that price point for them. Are you going to limit sizes too? At 6'5" I ride a 60 cm frame, and at 180, I'm getting pretty close to looking like a zipper when I stick out my tongue.
The reason why I'm adding this is because steel might be more attractive to "recreational" riders that don't worry as much about weight. Putting a weight limit on it might decrease your market.

I think the Spirit TT is maximum 57cm, so that takes care of that ;-)

The Spirit HSS top tube and down tube are thin - there is no getting around that. But we'd like to build with this tube set and we're looking at it as a steel race bike and we want it to have that race bike feel and ride. For larger riders - or those more concerned about longevity - I would encourage them to consider a custom Hampsten Life or MAX frame.

I'm sure the bikes ride fantastic, but I especially like the graphics and the grey/green of the carbon bike.

Try "MAH(L)-yah ROZE-ah." The "l" in maglia isn't audible as a normal liquid l, certainly doesn't introduce an entire syllable. Just a bit of flatness in the tongue/tip against the lower teeth, as is "yes." Similar - but not identical - to "million."

We're calling it Squadra Azzura. It's the blue we used on the steel bike, which is close to, but a little brighter than, a Gios blue. So currently we're offering those two colors - or "colours", Grant - Verdigris and Squadra Azzura, because they work well with our multi-color graphics. A black could work, maybe a green, a gray, but nothing that clashes with cream or pink. For now, one decal set and two paint choices - it's rather refreshing!

The pf30 is a bummer on an otherwise rad bike.

My vote is for a fancy off the shelf steel rain bike. A Columbus tube'd surly pacer with good geometry...

Easier to weld on a big bb sell I take it but I'm pretty sure that same bike using the same tubes can also work on a threaded normal BB, no? Well at least I hope so because my incoming Lobster has tubes that make these look very thin and a BSC BB.

It can be done but Max, our welder, prefers to not have weld beads overlapping, thus our embrace of the big BBs. If your Lobster is aluminum then that's a different animal and weld overlap is just fine.

I have heard that steel TIG welders do not like the beads to overlap. We do see plenty of it though

IMO - the new Chris King bb cups go a long way to make it a non-bummer issue.
