The VC party was a great time! Thanks to VC for getting that together.

Preview of the new Velo Cult Limited Edition. Handmade by Winter Bicycles in small batches of stock sizes.



This is a pre-production prototype. Sky was so excited when I rolled into the shop with the frame and wheelset he stripped a bike on the floor to build it up.



We're still working on the visual details and model specific graphic package, but this is the idea. Steel racer with a Winter fork and room for some big rubber. Shown here with 30mm Eroica's on 27mm Rolf Ares 4's- this set up will clear 35mm Paselas on 23mm rims.

If any of you are attending the Bike Expo this weekend stop over and say hello! I'll be there with The Levee Breaking/ The Giagantic Bicycle Festival. They are raffling off a Tool series road bike, and I'll have a couple bikes there to chat about. I'll also be trying to finance my lunch with some patch sales.

I was out with The Giganitic Bicycle Festival (a music and bike fest and organized ride). They are raffling off one of the Tool Bikes. Keep an eye out for their table at organized rides and bike events throughout the NW, and take a look at their site for details on the festival!

The police mentioned finding a bunch of mail, so I assume it was either a check deal or kids. We'll see if they have my box- not particularly hopeful (but a little). My little industrial complex has been pretty good so far, but this was a bummer.

Turns out tweakers are lazy... the police recovered most of my stuff and some other mail scattered in the area. Thanks, SPD!

I also had mail for me at the local PO, so that is being held for pick up and I'm back on track. Please still get in touch if I should be on the look out for anything in bound and we can get it nailed down.

This year The Gigantic Bicycle Festival is raffling off a Winter Bicycles custom made "Tool Series" road bike. In addition, we are offering Winter Bicycle's clients and friends a discount on the event.

Anyone who wants to participate just needs to note "Winter Bicycles" as their team and use the password "GiganticTOOL" when registering online. (It's always good to have a little self deprecating and sardonic humor in your day). You just need to be signed up by April 1st (yes, that's the real date!).

"Team members" will be able to ride, have a weekend pass into the Gigantic Bicycle Festival, and get a 2014 festival bike jersey, for $76.50 with the discount. If you want to camp, you may add a campsite for $10. As many people as want to share a tent can share a campsite.
