That's a great story Jason! Seriously, that is some watch history!

Totally agrees with that! I kinda have a Seiko thing myself... really, it's not a problem. I can stop anytime!

I sent him a pm on it. I think his price is a bit high for a Blackwater - I've seen Paradive's for a grand or just over...hopefully he's willing to deal!

jscottyk - what # is your Tsunami? You the original owner?

Mine is #058. I bought it two years ago from the original owner via an ad at watchuseek.

Sounds like someones coming back around to liking "material" things again!

Got decent tip a couple weeks ago. Sat on it, not sure what to do. Ended up purchasing a Sistem51. I'm rather fascinated by this watch. It's quite remarkable, in my opinion.

Been wearing my "dressiest" watch for a couple days. (dressy in that it doesn't have a dive bezel) I like it but it seems kinda small and I miss the bezel at work. (Sinn 656, btw)

I think I already mentioned that I have Seikos-disease lol. I shouldn't have been looking...because I haven't posted the Tsunami yet but last night I found this cherry all-original 6309 which is now incoming. It's a real disease I tell ya... :-)

OK guys, take it easy on me . . . My wife suggested that we get each other watches for our upcoming 10th anniversary, and I like the idea. I've looked through this thread, and it is a bewildering world for a newbie. I like the looks of the Omega Seamaster, which seems to be well-respected and may come in a smaller version for the ladies. No idea on budget, maybe $5k total for both?

Am I to assume that the titanium versions are lighter than the steel ones? I want something to wear every day, and bulk and weight are to be kept to a minimum.
