Pretty sure that's not the original oven - I spoke with the guys delivering one when they opened. Maybe the enclosure is subsequent. Regardless, good pie.

    OK WP I'll play.

RiHans would crush me with his abilities BUT this is something I do and share with others when a @ load of apples lands on my lap and I DO NOT have time to properly process them into sauce. I make it the easy way and trust me this is cheating and it makes killer apple butter.

Two processes. First is to make the sauce and second is the quick canning method.

    Sauce:
    1. Core and rough slice the apples.
    2. Add apples into a large crockpot with juice from a few lemons, a bit of nutmeg, a wee dash of cinnamon emphasis on wee and a few whole vanilla beans.
    3. Add enough water to start the cooking.
    4. Cook on high for as long as it takes to make the apples disintegrate than add enough brown sugar to suit yourself and continue cooking with the lid off until the sauce reduces to your liking.
    Canning:
This is the quick method and I recommend it as long as you follow the process and eat your goods within 6 months....prob. won't last 6 mins.
    1. Boil your jars and lids
    2. Fill jars not too full
    3. Set jars with lids loosely snugged down into the water. Have the water 3/4 of the way up the jars and boil for 10 mins. take jars out and let cool.
    done.
