For those who have already seen lots of great trials riding, the one surprise for me was how he got over the barbed-wire fence at ~6:05. I've done something similar, except for the getting over it part.

I generally don't love these videos, but the combination of awesome cinematography, and riding on this one brought it to a new level. I clearly need some skills practice.

BBC iPlayer - Danny MacAskill - Riding the Ridge

The BBC aired a 30 minute documentary on the making of the Ridge last night. The documentary is much more interesting because it shows all the effort that went into those shots. The drone they use to get the aeriels are awesome.. After the shoot, I think they enjoyed a couple nights in some pubs on the isle.

Amazing riding and cinematography, well worth the time to watch.

Can't say I like the direction though. First minute is dead time as is the last 1:30. Too many extreme closeups. Still, pretty compelling, and no doubt difficult to shoot.
