Default Skinny Jeans for X-mas - apparently I'm now a hipster.

My mother and my sister cooperated for this one, and this time they went for the stovepipe look. The waist and length is correct, but it's obvious that these are cut closer on the legs than "normal" jeans. Of the three pairs I received, I wore the first pair last night and there was some noticeable but not excessive constriction. The one's I'm wearing today are significantly narrower, and even though no one would ever confuse me with a track sprinter, they're tight enough to be annoying.

I think my days as a hipster are numbered...

Awesome. What obscure prose are you going to get tattooed on your forearm?

Whatever it is, translate it into Latin or some other dead language first

And fwiw, I just got a pair of the Levis 511 (?) commuter jeans for Christmas--nice fit, though a bit tight on the quads, and a very nice fabric. Would recommend.

This thread is so 2006 it pre-dates fixes.

No. It's already retro--all the "cool" kids have moved on so I was on this before you came back to it.

    Yeah.

Either that or someone forgot to tell the mission.

Try some dark denim with a small bit of spandex to see if they fit any better.
Good luck with your sartorial search.

I was a Latin major in college, with a minor in African American studies. If you need help, give me a buzz...

This is true, more than you thought from a Tennesseean, ehh. Let me know.

Skinny jeans are the spawn of Satan. I want the 90's back.
