Re: Richard Sachs Cycles
Truly just curious, how does your "fit" on this bike differ from your cross bikes? Do you lengthen the reach a bit (about 10mm ?), drop the bars, raise the saddle, etc? Are things like the headset top cup in similar places on both bikes after accounting for the longer fork and tire clearances? Does this jive with your Gaulzetti?
Thank you.

I'm shrinking atmo. The saddle height is 70cm and the reach is about 50.5cm. That's about 1cm higher and longer than my cx units.

Re: Richard Sachs Cycles
Oh and btw, we need a ride report on this frame with lateral stiffness and vertical compliance analysis.

I'm assuming it'll ride like the others I make - they lean to the East rather than to the West atmo.

As long as you can ride them no hands to take pictures for the ride report threads we are good

Re: Richard Sachs Cycles
What's he going to do in Deptford? Isn't a charming place, like many suburbs are.
In today's day, every corner of London becomes an opportunity for developers and estate agents. Don't believe a single word they say.

Wow, I'm not sure that I asked you to answer my question..
If I want to ask you a question perhaps I should tug your ponytail to get your attention when I see you on your bike?

Surely I'm not speaking for mr. Sachs, why should I?
But I do happen to live in London, and I've been around Bermondsey/New Cross/Deptford. And because of that, I can give you my opinion: the link you've posted is the BS that goes on today.
If you're not interested just don't read it, it isn't difficult

Ok, thanks for the lesson on London much appreciated. do they do sarcasm in Italy?
apologies on behalf of Mr mechanic and myself for ruining the thread.

Re: Richard Sachs Cycles
When I worked in Deptford, I lived off High Street Kensington on a lane called Vicarage Gate at a hostel. Three months on, I moved out to Dartford to board at the Witcomb's. I had originally planned to live in Brixton. But my first day at work, upon telling the staffers that, they told me not to do it unless I packed heat, was in a gang there, or had a martial arts background. In short, it was a completely unsafe and unsavory district for a young and alone American traveler.
Brixton, like Deptford, is now a chichi and upscale place to live.
I have never been back.

No need for apology on my side, you're making the thing bigger than what is.
Sarcasm in Italy isn't always good, or accepted. Cut it here.

Interesting part of the story. A Hostel in High St. Kensington sounds funny in today's day, one has to be billionaire to live there. But back to topic, ever considered a short trip to London? There's a lot of buzz a.t.m., I'm sure that a RS bike+builder will gather crowds
