In a car it's pretty simple, and a quick glance at Google Maps will get you there.

Super Shuttle. Hotel Van. Uber. Cab.

I took a Super Shuttle when I was there a few months ago. Easy and not too expensive. Maybe $20.

I've only taken SS to the airport (from north Dallas) and that sucked. 3:30am arrival at the airport for a 5:30am flight.

Friend takes Uber to the airport (from north Dallas) and says it's great. Only $28.

It's really nice that more and more airports are adding public transit options. I'd rather pay $5-10 and have to wait a little longer than $60+ for a cab ride (SFO rate.)

I remember going to NAHBS in Portland. Rail took me right from the airport to the convention center and hotel. Didn't need a rental car. Nice.

DART is quite awesome. I really like taking the Red Line. It's a trip. Literally and figuratively.
