    Default Harvest

    This is our THIRD picking…….so busy…….apricots too - and mulberries.

    Only five plum trees but 14 peaches……this is the practice session….....all chocked full.

    I gotta get back to drying, ya'll.

    Looks like a lot of work went into picking, but totally worth the payoff.

    This is about 1/3 of what I picked this morning, the rest was delivered to neighbors. I swear, you can hear the squish, zucs, and cucumbers growing while I try to sleep. Gotta bunch to pick tomorrow, then pickle time!!!

    Went ahead and started with these guys. 2 1/2 gallons of pickles so far!!! Probably got another 6-8g on the vine right now. Gonna be a busy week, blue/blackberries coming in.!.! Bout to get really, real around here.

    I'm wrapping up purple plums today with BBQ sauce.

    Then yellow ones on wed.

    Brief break on fruit until August for peaches.

    I have been so swamped………dried peached for three weeks, now into pears, made peach BBQ sauce, jam too, white & yellow peaches, now asian pears, and also 20lbs of tomatoes into salsa.

    My zealousness in planting Tomatoes is now coming to bear .....

    I will be eating tomatoes 3 meals a day for a month, or .......


    Best ways to preserve the harvest folks??

    BBQ sauce

    Dried

    Marinara
