    TT,

I learned about NFS from the paceline forum and I am going to buy some today from the bicycle place in MD. Is there a way to figure out what I am buying is the new formula?

    Thanks,

    Johnny

That's easy. Mike just re-stocked so everything on his shelf is fresh. FWIIW there is no new formula, I just adjusted things a weeeee bit to tone down the smell which does not change effectiveness. Thanks for the business. Josh

I9 (60 teeth on the drive ring) uses oil. Profile recommends running theirs dry, or with very, very minimal oil. Gotta keep it clean!!

Kaboom. Handlebar Tape is 4 sale now. Use coupon code: nickle

    Premium Handlebar Tape - NixFrixShun

NixFruxShun Handlebar tape is a premium product. Our handlebar tape is made by cyclists for riders who use their bikes hard. NixFrixShun handlebar tape is WIDE, STRONG and grippy. When your hands are dry the bartape feels like polished cloth and is not slippery. Once your hands are a little sweaty the tape becomes grippy and is very nice for all day comfort.

Because the tape is wide and supplied in VERY generous lengths you are able to wrap it with close overlaps for an extra cushioned effect or wrap using minimal overlaps and tightly for that "connected" feeling to your machine.

The bars come with high quality endplugs and finishing tape which you will not toss out. Our finishing tape is extremely high quality matte finished vinyl that will create the perfect transition.

Made in a black and white motif because all bartape should be black or white, we take no chances!!!

Please enjoy, this is the good stuff.

Do we get one of those watches with our order? By the way, VERY nice sh!t. Like NFS itself, it is "real world" good. Not like so much other stuff out there which should be great by the numbers, NFS products are actually good where and when it actually matters. Got mine! Do your hands a favor and do the same.

one of the brothers who owns that company is pretty passionate about cycling, and he's put a lot of support towards it. used to a run a VW dealership, but offed that a while a go. kinda think Z is all he does now. seems to be working out well...his tape is all over the place.

How about a black on black version of the tape?

That could happen after this case proves it's merit.

Yep, black on black please and white on white while we are at it.

The white on black looks just a little messy for me. That's just me though.

Thanks. I stopped by yesterday and bought a bottle. Got home and applied to a clean chain. Unfortunately won't be able to ride until the weekends. Drivetrain sounds much better already, hope it does magic with road grimes.

It's like having an epiphany when you ride for the first time after application.

Has that coupon code expired? I got "The coupon code you entered couldn't be applied to any items in your order." when trying to order two of the bar tape...

    Thanks David, appreciate the order.

Folks, this stuff is sooooo generous in length and stretch that if you do not like seeing graphics you can wrap it and hide most of the art.

Later today I'll wrap a set of bars and show you.

FWIIW the bars I've pictured are only wrapped 50/50 onto 46 cm bars with 80 cm as cutoff.

It looks like a great product but wrapping extra will create a grip too thick for me. I like mine thin. Not criticising just letting you know of different set ups. I will probably order some next month when I get paid again.

    **** NFS Shipping News ****
Thank you United State Postal Service, never thought I'd say that but I did. We are going to "reboot" flat rate shipping to the USA and we are working on doing the same for International.

I finally took the time to rewrap the bars on the road bike last night. I have to admit, I was skeptical - I've ridden and loved Benotto ribbon for so many years. Most tapes with adhesive backing give me worms
And the thickness, definitely not what I'm used to and usually like. Last non-Benotto tape I liked was the Scott Proper wrap - thin, rubber base with a suede-like surface. Anyway, I pulled off the Benotto, and wrapped the NFS tape. Went on easily. The width eases the job, and though I didn't have enough left over to do another set, there was PLENTY to get the job done.

First ride on it this morning - NFS tape does not suck. I thought I might not like the thickness, but coupled with the surface feel, it was a very natural change. I'll be rewrapping them again to fix a couple gaps (my own fault), and long term love remains to be seen, but all indications so far are good.

Only thing I would change is the color - the white logos clash with the rest of my road bike.
