Magnus Walker. you either love or hate what he does with old Porsches. still seems fitting for "hand made" for some reason..

Haven't been hanging here much lately.. Still riding, just taking it a bit more for fun and trying to avoid the time-suck of the web. I have however increased the sex appeal in the garage; I am about 1 year into owning a Boxster RS60 and the wife is actually clutching on a daily basis now in her 996TT cab. I couldn't believe it when she said she wanted the car so bad she would shift in her DD but she is loving it so far. These cars are funny, her car is an '05 and had a tad under 10K miles when we bought it in May. Not sure I will ever buy a new P car again.. Kind of hunting for an air cooled car now, just not sure where to park it.
I have got to get up to see Sean and crew; had a wonderful chat with his Dad today about air cooled cars...
Kinda' stoked; I may have found my air cooled 911.. I will post again if/when it graces the garage.
Good friend just picked up a nice 1972 coupe to go with his Bug Eyed Sprite. Makes me want to add a 70s to go with my 80s. But then it gets like bikes an n+1 with cars is not as cheap. Or easily stored.
Good luck with the search.
Lots of installing on the 934. Everything color-sanded/buffed. All new seals and deco inserts and finally starting to install the cage. I built the cage to replicate the factory aluminum cages that raced back in the 80's. The "chrome" powdercoat actually looks pretty damn close to a brushed aluminum. Hopefully I'll have the fender extensions on before the end of the week..

At this point it is looking like the air-cooled 911 might be in my garage late Saturday; my fingers are crossed to say the least!

I mean, 90% sure its a replica, but still...
Porsche Classic brings out new navigation radio for classic sports cars
"As an homage to the EPOdays of yore- I'd find the world's last remaining pair of 40cm ergonomic drop bars.....i think everyone who ever liked those handlebars in that shape and in that width is either dead of a drug overdose, works in the Schaerbeek mattress factory now and weighs 300 pounds or is Dr. Davey Bruylandts...who for all I know is doing both of those things." - Jerk
$1400 worth of built in nav vs Google maps on a smartphone.
Guess if you need to ask what it costs....
I think I'll stick with my Blaupunkt Reno.
Pointing out the obvious here. Why would you need a radio whilst driving a Porsche?

Progress, should be putting on the new shoes Tuesday or Wednesday.
