    Default Flat Mount Dimensions

I don't suppose anyone has the spec for the new Flat Mount disc 'standard'? Considering it's an open standard and most of the big companies are using it, details seem to be very scarce.

    Thanks!

Yes I just machined dropouts for road frames this morning it was announced a few years back to factories to look at but even though I think they missed a trick and people can buy our flatmount adapter, I posted the dims on instagram and the models can be got from our site soon

When will the adapters be available?

Thank you for posting the dimensions. I have been looking for them. Can you provide a link to the original Shimano document? I have not found one on the Shimano website.

So this is the SRAM spec for for Flat Mount, for the rear that I got from SRAM Australia. "Brakes are coming" and the rear calipers are available from Shimano.

The front SRAM spec for Flat Mount, although I prefer ISO for the bracing up the back of the fork leg.

I'm glad this is now an option. It solves so many problems.

    Anyone built with this spec?

Im considering trying this for the next build, but wonder if anyone has tried their hand at it. It looks to me like you would need to put a blank in place for the brake mount and then mill the slots post weld to the chainstay. I cant seem to think of how you would keep the slots referenced proper side to side in a jig otherwise.

Yeah, I'm curious as to whether this has been done on a steel frame yet too, haven't seen anything around.

Brian at Kavik just showed me his new flat mount insert for his hoods. They look sweet.
