Just for my own curiosity, who is on the committee that chooses these and how does one apply for membership?

This thread is about it being the middle of Winter and finally getting around to tackling OT issues of great import. Namely the polarizing subject of badges and titles rewarded upon the faithful that so confuse so many people here. At the least new and enigmatic cat references persist around e-Richie.

I was thrilled to discover I share a designation with a quite accomplished rider here who posts amazing photographic travel accounts. I do however remain lost if that is based upon post count or larger ideals.
