During the regular Saturday South Mountain Cycles road ride last weekend, Jimmy told me that he had "drunk the NFS Cool-Aid." Apparently, he had been up at the Stricklands a few months ago and Beth had commented that his chain was noisy. He had "borrowed" eight drops from Bill's bottle of NFS. Then he just forgot about his chain. He rode the lunch rides, weekend rides, wet rides and dry ones. It occurred to him last week that for the first time in his many years of riding, he hadn't needed to do anything to his chain for a LOOONG time. So he went into South Mountain Cycles and bought their last bottle of NFS. He told me that he figured that he would need to order up another bottle if a few years. Cool-Aid indeed.

Is that NFS sold in any shops in Georgia? I'm still using Shimano's "Slippery Spit", which is
no longer in production and hasn't been for years now.

No, not presently. i will offer you the same deal as anyone who seals a shop deal. Free NFS! NixFrixShun Bicycle Speed Shop is where shops can request wholesale accounts.

Hey TT, I'm hoping that by the end of the week I'll have keys to the new Southern Wheelworks shop, which will be practically smack dab in the middle of GA. Once that's settled and I get moved in I'll be in touch, which may be a few weeks.

Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?

Is there any difference between the Silca NFS formula and NFS Ultimate formula?

Silca Pro Blend is a bit more performance oriented vs longer lasting. It is unlikely you can tell the difference in real life and both have really nice labels ;)
Silca Pro Blend is available via QBP. Ask your local bike shop to stock it or hit NixFrixShun Bicycle Speed Shop and take advantage of free shipping.

Just received the NFS bar wrap and wrapped my wife's touring bike. I know I'm late to the party but damn that shit is good! Now I have to get some for my bikes.

Appreciated. We love the stuff. Can'd keep it in stock now that people are catching on.

I've been using it for about six months and it is the best tape I have ever used in my 28 years of cycling. No rivals! I had to unwrap it last week to add some satellite shifters for my DI2 and feared, like all adhesive backed tapes I've used before, that the stuff would pull apart and tear. No - not a chance. It unwound nicely and wrapped back like it had never been shifted. The NFS tape is it!

Running tape on "the Hoss" and my new preferred bike. Great! Now just make another run of the the stuff with the white lettering . . .

Placebo effect? My Rival shifter maybe takes too little effort to shift now after putting in a drop or two.

Mine are sticky (and I believe are on the same bike!) I don't know from SRAM - where should I place my drop of NFS? Just turn the bike upside down and drop where the shift lever pivit is?

Hey Andy, I like the "loud" version too. However, it is not super popular. If we do another run I'd want to make sure we have at least 25 rolls sold beforehand. Thanks.
