That sounds so nice! I need to add some sound to my Targa but at this point that is a bit down the list of things to do..
I need to get up there and take in some of this craftsmanship! I could wear my "Will sand for help with my car" t-shirt..
. Mmm that '73 Carrera.

Been busy lately trying to finish the RS and have a small addition to the back of the shop. Super stoked to have an additional 600 square feet.

The car will leave pretty much in this condition on Wednesday and the client will finish assembly in his shop. His is manufacturer of all our suspension components and this car will showcase all his latest suspension bits. Considering how bad this car was when it came to our shop, I'm really happy how it turned out.
Stumbled across this pic when I was cleaning out my office for the new construction....seems as if I have been flaring fenders since I was little =)

Great color. Have a huge affinity for light blue, lime green and speed yellow on 911s.
Love this thread and the eye candy.
Motor details???
Oh man, I need the color code for that blue.
I really enjoy your updates, Sean...thanks for keeping this thread going.
Goodrich did a couple frames in a similar color. FNL somewhere...
Thanks gents, the PPG color code is 14778 however we use Dupont and had our paint shop cross ref the PPG number. The color is called Mexico Blue...Although you mainly see it on 69-73 short hood cars, the color actually came out in 74. As far as motor, I have no idea what he's puting in it. He said that he has 2 motors that he plans to use, a 2.8 and a 3.xx? When he finishes the car up, I'll most def post some pics. Up next we are doing a backdate project. More deets when the car makes it in the shop.

This car was next to 3 RWB builds and held it's own.

Before I die I've got to drive a real track P car and it's all your fault.

Does anyone have recommendations for Porsche specific online communities that have a similar ethos as we have here?
Wouldn't call it the same, because I don't have enough time with the community. But when I have a hankering' for Porsche talk I end up reading the Pelican Parts tech forums. If browsing anon the inserted ads are annoying though. Curious where others hang out for car stuff.
