I know, I know, I am terribly retro and whenever I have to use one, I just can't get on with "modern" daysacks.
Those anatomically shaped compartments divided by 3 or 4 zips they do really annoy me, I am the kind of guy that has his little things in their own little bags (bike tools, hand-size medical essentials, etc.) so I can easily move things from a daysack to a bike bag, depending where I'm going.
Call me lazy, but I can't be asked to remember the location of things for every bag, I'm used to independent pack organizers. And I like square/rectangular shapes, and I like the old style flap over rather than zips.
So far, the only thing I can see in a decent size -25-30lt- is the Flap Pack from Topo Design.
It is very nice, and having seen another of their packs they are indeed very well made.
Aside from this, any suggestion?
Thanks!
