I agree with the suggestions above. It really depends of what era of car you are interested in since some of the forums focus more/less on eras or styles. There tend to me more yahoos in the Porsche world than the cycling world (go figure ;) ) so you have to put up with them a bit.
If you are interested in the early cars (i.e. '65-'73) the Early S Registry is a good place that tends to focus on the kind of minutia we like in our bikes

I spend most of my time on rennlist but the quality of the group and conversation really depends on the subforum.
Some are great others not so much
Edit--late to the party with the RL recommendation--.
For cayman specific, I'd head over to planet-9

here's the Porsche spot. Years ago it was pretty exclusive Porsche, but it's broadened it's look some.
Wait, I used to be "doublebutted", now i'm "motordoper"...bad to worse!
Good morning Gents, quick little update on the project I'm working on...Backdating an 87 911 to a 73 RS. Filled the indents on the rockers with metal and welded smaller corners over the torsion caps. I had to get creative on how to make the smaller opening still functional if you had to pull the larger torsion bars out for service, so I cut the center and made that removable as well. Once the torsion cap is on with a seal, you'll never see it. Yesterday I body worked the rear fender lip on the passenger side to soften it up as SC flares are stupid sharp and RS flares are much softer.

Wow.. I am really jealous of anyone with regular access to Inde. I have been just once and loved the elevation and entertaining mix of corners.

i have nearly 120 pictures, but all taken with a big nikon, so too big for this site. aside from re-sizing that many pictures, how can i upload them here? they are up on my facebook page and will probably come up as a gallery just by a search.
we took dad's 1987 in summer yellow- it was the only one of said color in the main event and parking areas.

"Shopping Night" in my town. My ex brother-in-law parked four Porsches outside his shop, he owns the two orange ones.
