Since this week includes the Farewell to True Temper theme, here's a pic from almost but not quite 30 years ago. I was among the brand's first full time clients and a dedicated RC tubing user until some four years later when I wasn't. The supplier was my racings team's first-ever cash sponsor and we had a very tight sporting liaison for three seasons. I wrote about the relationship here and posted the text last July.
