Hello,

Where I live in Northern California recycling steel is very common, there are small containers of all sorts of steel just down the road from me. I got a nice 1990s Tange mountain bike frame and fork out of a container one day, it is nicer than most of my other bikes. I have about 6 damaged road and MTB frames lying around from the recyclers and 2nd hand stores that I plan on cutting apart and stripping to practice on - I am on a budget and these cost me nothing. Americans throw a way a lot of good bikes and parts, a very small cottage industry has evolved out of this.
Thanks for the answer.
But I thought about raw tubes. These from bikes are usually painted and the big problem would be to remove them paint.
I ordered cheap non butted tubes from CEEWAY.
