The 2016 WRX and STi have a much improved interior from prior models.

But no wagon...I may give them a look anyway. I'd rather give up the wagon than give up the manual.

Golf R will have the nicest interior new with a stick but is on the small size, focus ST is another option to look at. I am driving a 325xi wagon (e91) after a similar search, great handling, great interior, decent room but not super fast and hard to find, I bought with low miles and hope I can get at least 5 years before the repair bills get out of hand.

Manual wagons are all gone from the new market other than a golf which is not sporty so you stuck with a smaller hatch or a sedan.

Let's go to the dealer and get a 2 for 1 deal. I'll get my outback, you get your STi. We both trade in our impossible to find cars and leave with cash in hand.

    1. Go to dealer
    2. ?
    3. Profit!

I may give the Golf a look but I'd probably want to keep my fj since the golf is on the small side.

My wrx was an actual wagon and it was awesome. That focus RS is tempting but I don't know if I can get comfortable with the price.

That sounds like most of the project proposals I get at work. Who knows how we'll do it but how could we lose. I'm in!

Why not a used Benz gas wagon? Goes like stink, huge bonus points for stuffing filthy bikes in the back. Might have to settle for a 4Matic.
    Mercedes-Benz Pre-Owned Vehicle search << I've arranged a Canadian vakay for you.

That's a long drive home. My bro-in-law is a whiz at finding pre-owned gems. I may put him on the case. 4-matic isn't an option though. If I end up with an automatic it will be to get something practical.

Too Tall for the win. I'll use that list to narrow my search.

    How about the Opel Insignia?

Apparently GM thought we'd be better off with the Chevy Trax.

Slightly OT but a couple vehicles owned by family members are going on Bring a Trailer soon:
My brother's mid 80s FJ55 daily driver and
My dad's '79 Super Beetle with 2500 miles on it. (Yes you read that right)

55 = pig. You mean FJ60? Still rad.

You're right. I mistyped. Our mutual neighbor had a crazy nice fully restored FJ55 when I lived in Chicago. Then my brother bought the 60 after I left, and have only seen it once.
