Schedule for Nov 10 is the London Course.
Choose "Hilly".
See you at the game start (just don't move after the game drops you in) at 9:05 am and we go at 9:10am

Well, that was fun (ouch). The "London 8" loop has some really good hills. IIRC two laps takes me 1 hr. and 4 mins. so we should be able to nearly complete 4 laps than just quit...in a puddle.

Planning to make it this week and see how long I last.
Disclosure: it'll be my first group ride on Zwift. Hope some more of you new to the group ride thing (or veterans of same) can join the party.
The plank challenge has been a great motivator and I'm looking to these to be the same!

Just got the Zwift machine set-up to a smarter-than-me-trainer today. Complete nubbie to it all but can tell this combo is capable of some serious leg pain. I have never a had a trainer set-up that when put on full force mode I could not even turn the pedals over...not just hard...full dead stop.
Would love to join the group ride but at 9:00am I am sitting at a desk rather than saddle. If you want to have one start at 6:00am I could join.

There are a few tricks to group riding or riding with someone on Zwift. Keep an eye on w/kg for yourself and the wheel you want to hold. Zwift will tell you if you are getting dropped as well. Don't shift too soon when you hit a hill, there is a slight lag.

Yep, that happened.
That was two hrs. well spent. Mostly chasing SpeedyChix up hills. We left exactly ontime and stuck to the plan including a 5 min. break after the second Box Hill climb.
That was perfect.

Looking forward to doing this again. Best two hours I've ever spent on a trainer.
Josh was great to ride and work with, don't be shy. Surprised myself and made the entire ride and went on to clean gutters and rake leaves before the sun went down today. Not sure how the plank action is going to fare.
If we roll out EARLIER Thanksgiving Thursday, "raise" your hand if you would ride.

Thursday Nov. 24 we will move the ride to 8:10 am. Choose "London 8" wear the BICYCLING magazine Jersey (code) bicyclingmag . The ride ends after 2 hrs. There will be a 5 min. Break immediately after second box hill climb. Stop after you pass under the banner or watch me for a queue. Pace: easy warm up, 2 to 2.5 w/kg mostly. Hard(er) climbs at 2.5-3 w/kg. I'll set a hard tempo pace. If you have entered your weight and FTP correctly you'll be nicely challenged. Questions? Post them here.
