Yeah, right; you'd probably want to see if you could cross Kansas in a blizzard with AWD..

Spend some real time around GT Silver Metallic and you will have your answer. As we subscribe to the bright car in a subtle color is best theory, all 3 of ours are silver(yes, we get crap about it). Arctic pops when it is freshly washed but GT is more refined/has more character and still looks good even with a bit of dirt. Clearly the best color I have ever owned as I am not a bit tired of it after 2+ years.

Well yeah but the new silver are also different from the past silver. Well GT is the same (and looks great). I have not seen a Rhodium yet but will soon. Agate would still be my favorite I think. Arctic does not exist anymore.

Purchased it at the end of May last year from a dealer in Durham NC. I actually tracked it down by searching on the net. I was open to any of the silver/grey colors. I probably would have considered a red or carrera white one too if the price was right. This one was at a dealer near Albany NY and had nearly all the options I wanted. I drove the 2&4S manual and PDK variants and realized that I liked the lighter weight feel of the 2wd car. Just so happens finding this GTS in Rhodium silver with PDK checked virtually all the boxes.

Good morning Gents- It's been a while. I've still been putzing around on that rusty Euro '75, but I'm a few days away from putting the motor back in.

    I started with this:

    Then did this:

    And some of this:

    And now I'm about here:

I got the car mostly wired yesterday and today will start tackling the crankfire crap. Have a great day guys!

It was pretty amazing that this car was still relatively square... Pretty much every structural piece of metal was 80% rotted out. I believe the roll cage is the only thing that kept the chassis together.

An Irish Green 71T ended on BaT today - $70,500 and didn't sell...

The C4S felt more "secure" and you can feel the front pulling but the direction is just a bit heavier. All of that was on a dry road in CA. I would lean toward the 4 only because if and when I ship this back to France I would use it in the mountains in the winter as well and in this case 4WD is a complete no brainer.
Whatever you do, just be sure: (i) to get this purchased before I come out for my next visit; and (ii) don't ship it to France before my next visit.

Awesome. I regret owning cars that are near impossible to work on.
