Re: Outlier and other fine @ass (long) pants
I've had a pair of Rapha trousers (what they now call "Double weave") for about two years now and they are my absolute go-to for travel. Extremely weather-resistant, hearty, zipper-pocketed, great fit for cyclist legs, and a lot of nice touches like reflective strips sewn into the inner pant-leg for when you roll up your cuff, plus a reflective tab on a rear pocket. My wife just got me a pair of the Loopback trousers for Hannuka that I opened last night and they fit similarly, with a bit more stretch and I'm sure they'll be in steady rotation.
For what it's worth I've also owned a couple of pairs of Outlier pants and shorts, and find Rapha to be comparable, but better fitting for my leg-type, which is to say relatively thick quads and calves that are not in proportion with my waist, or what would be considered a normal proportion).
