Shameless name-dropping: I went to grad school with Luciana at NEC in the mid-90s. She is not only extraordinarily talented, she's a really nice person too.
Back on topic: I may be going down to Philly in April to hear Orchestra 2001 play Frank Zappa's "The Yellow Shark" in its entirety.

I heard Charlie Albright play Chopin's Ballades in late February.
That kid's got some serious chops - massively complicated, dense music played with precision, clarity and power. Very, very impressive!
GO!
Me knuckledragger. Kenny Wayne Shepherd Band and The Beth Hart Band at the Palace in Albany in June or something.
Does this count:
Just got tickets for Evanescence and Lindsey Stirling in August, and going to spring for tickets for my daughter to see Pentatonix in July.

Jawbreaker @ the Hollywood Palladium was, hands down, the best show I've been to. Not because it was 21 years in the making but because they were TIGHT AF.
Also, the pit is so much better when you're surrounded by 35-45 year olds. You get just as sweaty but everyone is a little less aggro and moves just a little slower.

Having one of my every-few-years reunions with my 2 closest childhood friend this weekend in Chicago. Two of our evenings:
They Might Be Giants
Hamilton
..still a little stunned that I could pick up 3 decent seats to Hamilton this morning. For an outlandish - but not obscene - price...
GO!
I'm seeing a fun husband wife team- Birds of Chicago at The Ark in Ann Arbor in a couple weeks and will see John Prine in the fall. (Concert was canceled 3/23- I hope he is ok) If you have never seen John Prine, go before it's too late.
I've seen John Prine several times, always a great show. I saw a picture of him recently and wouldn't have recognized him.

Radiohead in August in Philly.
I’ve seen him numerous times over the years. I most recently saw him with Margo Price this past fall. He is still great to see live, and Margo Price is awesome. It’s really great to see comtemporary artists like Margo Price, Jason Isbell, etc., paying tribute to John Prine.

The Willie Nelson show with Neal Young, Nathaniel Rateliff, Lukas Nelson and I guess whoever needs a gig this September in Saratoga. And the promoter's ticket site is ridiculous. Would not work on my own PC or phone. Hope I don't get fired for buying them off my work laptop.
COC and Social Distortion in town this summer. Not together, that would be too perfect.
