I'm 6'10" and 230 lbs and building my first frame out of necessity. I bought some Llewellyn double oversized lugs for a sloping tt and the longest, heaviest tubes I could find for the front triangle.
I have everything mitered for the front triangle, and I'm ready to buy seatstays and chainstays. My plan is to then pin everything together as straight as I can without a jig before I then buy an oxy acetylene torch, practice lugs, and sundry.
The seattube is about 66cm c-c, and I cant find seatstays that appear to be long enough though. With my weight and strength, I'm extremely reluctant to go the wishbone route, as I've seen on some other tall frames. I'm hoping someone is willing to offer some insight.
