You always slay it with the yeller bikes Mr. Garro. That is one schweet ride there. Would say bees knees, but the bees will find that bike on their own.

Re: Coconino Cycles
But what a combo. I think that may be one of the best looking bikes you have ever come up with Steve. If it was your mountain cruiser model, that bike would be the perfect bike.

Re: Coconino Cycles
Congratulations Mr. Garro, your town is now the title holder in snow this year. Way to go AZ. I thought we had crap weather for clearing sidewalks, but you guys are way over the top. Had some bluebird xc ski days here though up in Missoula. Hang in there I see a Mexican fishing trip n your future.

I would usually be in Mexico, but luckily we are not, as we have to keep the roofs clear as the doors were not opening - not as much as 2010, but 36" / one meter in 24 hours plus more on other end !!!!

Re: Coconino Cycles
As the person w/that uber black Coconino, this has to be said:
I don’t know what Garro does w/the geometry, tube selection, alignment, joining, etc., but out of the saddle sprinting BMX-style it takes off and seems to have some kind of assist as you get to 3/4 spun out. It's weirdly alive, and I'm not sure I've ever felt something that noticeable in an MTB. It's not planing, it's not noodle y, it's not crazy torsionally stiff, but something is going on.
And it carves at speed, really carves. Both wheels locked in, and if you get your weight back and lower a hair more, with just a touch of rear brake the back end comes loose just enough to smoothly tighten things up. Again, all of this is happening while really hauling.
Thanks Steve. You and the bike you made are badass.

29X2.5 all wrapped up at Dark Matter. It'll get built up in mid May when Garro gets back from fishing. The finish pattern is a tribute to Dario.
