So, I ended up doing the deal on Friday. The local shop had the full line in stock, which I ended up appreciating. After getting in several, I went with one I hadn't even considered when looking online, the 45 degree Everlite: EverLite | Western Mountaineering It's definitely a summer-only bag, but I think I'll appreciate having the ideal bag June-August.

Summer bags absolutely rock - you will love it.

I've wanted a Western Mountaineering bag forever but ended up with a Marmot Helium as my main bag with a lucky alignment of coupon/sales/dividend a while back.

Wait...those things fit Sasquach sized people??? Nice. I've owned a winter REI bag since I was a kid and popped for a Big Agnes when I actually forgot to pack my bag for a car camping trip. Great bag esp. for tall people.

Yes, the long fits up to a 6'6" hombre. The helium is cut pretty trim which I guess is sort of ok because unless its <~20 out I can't sleep zipped into my bag anyway lol. I have always wanted to sew my own bag that has a footbox closed up to the knees and a big open quilt beyond that.

There's no 7' option on the website, but there is on the hangtag.

Chris, saw that a while back. So so so well done. That would be a hoot for blasting fire roads. I hate to say it really needs a suspension fork, it needs a suspension fork.

This showed up today. A bit thicker than expected, but nice overall. Good action. WE Knives knows how to make good stuff!

I do wish the clip was acid/stonewashed like the blade, not polished.

That's the food services drawing of the kitchen for a new high school in Fulton County. I'd be surprised if some pot didn't work it's way through there at some point!
