looks like the canyon hoverbar. I know epoxies are strong, but I would still be frightened. I would feel much more comfortable if I was putting my weight on the bar clamped in the stem...but that would defeat the point a bit, no?
Unless you just wanted more space for putting your bike accessories :)
First image that came to mind was this....
La Cheeserie!
I see your Cobble Gobbler and raise you......
The upper straight handlebar has the twist shifters for the Rohloff.

Looks like an absolute hot mess to me, but kudos for being your own lab rat. Great things can happen thinking outside the box.

This is some wild SOPWAMTOS.

I dig originality and iconoclasm, but he kinda lost me at this. Actually, and I hate to be so critical of blog-level writing, but as an (ex-)academic this bluster without substance is pretty intolerable. There, I said it, hoping a little that I'm wrong and that there is genuine functionality added here....
I hate having to rescue the roadies but they aren’t capable of actually designing bikes....these de-couple the hand grips from the front wheel as traditional means limit geometry concepts
Am I right in understanding the point of this bar is to fit drop bars on a bike designed around flat bars?

Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?
with slack geo that begets high speed, why run the super pinner tires?
Haven't checked your link but couldn't you have achieved the same thing by mouting the handlebar with a short rising stem ? Or design some kind of adapter to mount a downhill stem designed for a dual crown? I'm not sure I understand the need for that second tube on the handlebar as it doesn't seem to be used to support the hands.

How do you install or remove the brake levers?
Perhaps oddly, I hate it less than the Canyon version.
I'm confused. Can someone explain to me what the slack geometry is buying here?

It turns out that everything we've known about bicycles for the last 150 years is wrong.
Imagine that.
