    Default Copper Cookware

I've been researching copper cookware for some time now and stumbled upon this.

Based on price and weight (thickness) of copper, he falls into the Mauviel M'150 series. Where as the Mauviel also has the M'250 series.

But would be interesting to add a piece of 'merica made copper to the collection.

Big old thumbs up for East Coast Tinning Duparquet. They have re-tinned two pieces for me and the work is outtasight.

Honestly, if you are going down that rabbit hole have you considered the stainless steel lined copper? I have both, will probably never go back to tin unless I find screaming deals on old old old heavy pieces that nobody wants 'cause nobody wants to deal with the easily damaged tinned linings....i do!!!!

FWIIW I see they sell heat diffusers. Hmmmm, I buy these plates made for setting up audio equipment. Lovely.

Guilty. Rabbit hole aficionado right here.

I have/had some SS lined copper and enjoy it. I currently have a few Mauviel SS pieces that I love. I'm looking to get a small(er) fry pan and pretty set on the M'250 line. Just thought it was cool to see some nice copper stuff made this side of the pond. I do wonder if the tin is my thing.

@caleb I was in NYC back in Oct. I would have loved to stop by Brooklyn Copper. Thanks for the heads up. Perhaps next time.
