Some of you might find this shot appropriate to the conversation. This is what my friend's wife painted on his garage door (he's got about 40 years of 2-wheel hoarding in there).
That Mercian in the upper right looks like the one I had built in 84/85 and sold one Ebay in 2005. I want it back:D

It is a "racing" tandem from that era... It has most of its old parts, but has been converted to Campagnolo 9 speed w/ergopower. One of the old Campy barcons operates the Phil Wood disc brake so you can dial up a little sanity on long descents. It mostly sits as my wife has no interest in riding it.
So I'm in the garage late last night, lubing chains, checking tires and cleaning parts in anticipation of the weekend's upcoming rides....true therapy. My wife came in and asked the usual..."what are you doing?" I responded with the usual..."sniffing ProLink."
I need to show her this thread so she'll know that there are others out there having just as good of a time. Nice thread guys.
Checked out riceburner's Speedvagen in person the other night, bike is beautiful. So many great details, love the paint job.
He's just trying to be nice to me after snatching that sweet Chris Chance cross bike from underneath me years ago on Fleabay. You are almost forgiven. Nice re-enactment of Somerville, MA you got there in your basement. It puts the lotion on......
I was Phuoc's first employee though I haven't worked there in 10 years or so. My house does look pretty similar to that right now. Wifey finally said enough at 22 bikes and 15 additional wheelsets in the living room.
