I was walking through a discount shop here in London yesterday and spotted a pair of footwear I need... wingtip chelsea boots with a treaded, rubber sole.

I like these, and have a few pairs of Loakes. Given the choice though, I'd go for Trickers over Loake. I think they make a more durable shoe and have some slightly more eccentric offerings:

I’ve been having an unrequited love affair with Japanese brand Nanamica for a couple of years now. I spent a year being tortured by one of their blazers my brother gave me; it was too big. Today I broke down and bought the last grey wool / gore-tex blazer I was able to find anywhere. These jackets are wool on the outside, lined with gore-tex; it’s the best of both worlds. Hurry up FedEx!
