Yesterday, an older porsche rolled across the intersection in front of my wife and I. It was a slightly faded red on on black, much like this probably once was. As I was admiring the car and rolling down my window hoping to hear it, she blurted out: "That's the ugliest porsche I've ever seen!" Gave me a chuckle because prior to yesterday, I can't recall her making any comments, positive or negative about any porsche, ever. An hour earlier, she made a comment about how she liked a late 90's 528i with faux 'M' badges. I know she wants a new car and lusts for a Laguna Seca E46 but man, she was all out of whack...

I am going to assume she said Porsch not Porsche..

C'mon, Panamera's have slowly grown on me; not that I want one yet..

Drive one and your opinion will change. I drove a turbo Panamera around the track and it was unreal what a 4 door sedan can do.

I really like the Panamera. A four door sedan that drives like a GT3.

New shoes. Still need to set ride height and align, but roughed in for now.

Well it will still be ugly as good as it drives.

No, that is a 1961 Maserati 3500 GT that is next in line..We'll be doing a full ground up restoration. She needs a new floor pan and a lot of the aluminum body has bad corrosion. Should be interesting to see what it looks like after media blast.

Should have known the air vent was too low for an Aston.

Pretty car. How do you deal with the corrosion if it's really bad?

To be honest, I'm not sure yet. I'll have to see what I'm working with once the paint and undercoating are removed. Most of the beading on the lower portion of the body panels have been rotted off, so I'll be making that, but hopefully it's just bad prep under the paint... We will see. I'll document the entire thing.

So close.. Alignment and corner weight, done. Last step is the aftermarket A/C.
