My amazing friends call me Shoogs.
I love these both for dissonant days.
And one of my favorites,
Cottage cheese for dinner, Greek yogurt for dessert, eat that everyday an' it will make your butt hurt.
The Art of Almost, the first track on Wilco's latest album, is a good stuff.
as good today as it was in yesteryear:
Still digging on this
Falling from high places, falling through lost spaces,
Now that we're lonely, now that there's nowhere to go.

terrific song to listen through good headphones.
each new layer of sound that comes forth is pretty cool--it's like an aural whackk-a-mole. "hey, what was that?"
hey chasea: do you ever listen to sigur ros? i've gotta woder what it's like as an individual band member to play some of that music. taken individually, sooooooooooo slow and isolated, like a tap of a snare or a pluck of a string every half second or so, but of course when blended it's such an amazing tapestry of sound.
Good question, I could probably go on for waaaaay longer than you're interested trying to answer that one. Don't want to hijack this thread, so I'll work out a semi-cohesive ansewr and post it over in "Hobbyist."

Good stuff.
Only partly made better by his being an avid cyclist. Get to ride with him a few times a year as he comes out with his bike to ride the hills and vineyards.
a cple wks ago a bunch of us were sailing and drinking and it was sunny and windy and cold and beautiful blah blah blah. around sunset it was blowing pretty good and we had some waves and it was just cool and were cranking this, a small ship of dancing fools.
