You are doing something right, Guy. Nice fish!

Nice to see someone dig this back up - I did get this nice brown a couple weeks ago on my B-day - a fine dinner for my 53rd

The River Wolf, Devon, England. Quite challenging to fish with a fly rod, the only permitted method, but it is home to wild brown trout and grayling. Yesterday afternoon I caught 4 trout and 2 grayling or 2:1. When I first fished this river 43 years ago I never caught or saw any grayling. The presence of grayling is said to be an indicator of excellent water quality, which is encouraging.
Stalking trout, while unaware that I was being photographed. The River Wolf again, Devon, England. Thank you to David Pilkington for the image.
PB for Mahi!
Took the Marlin Mania out of Hatteras on June 2. Get day to say the least.
Ended up being 307lbs whole and and about 130lbs of fillets.
Mate claimed this is the standard Bull Mahi pose.
Looks like Gulf Stream fishing. Working the weed lines.
Had our first trip out wading the Ocmulgee two weekends ago. I caught a few bluegill, a spotted bass, and two small shoal bass I didn't get any pics of. Not my best day out there, but not my worst!
The New Guy heading into the deeper part of the river on our way out to the shoals.
The Other New Guy coming out of the deeper part and approaching the shoals.
Skinny little spotted bass.

Why do people feel the need to list all of their bikes in their signature?
Mayfly hatch https://www.velocipedesalon.com/foru...ml#post1050531 on Cod Beck, Thirsk, North Yorkshire, England. I caught 9 wild brown trout, largest 15 inches, in 90 minutes using a dry artificial mayfly and my 70 year old American cane rod https://www.velocipedesalon.com/foru...ods-55457.html

And I replied,
"I did not make the blank.
When I was a school boy my passions were fishing and cycling and it was my ambition to build my own bike frame and split my own cane for a fishing rod. I have now built several steel bike frames but it looks as though the creation of a bamboo rod blank will remain unfulfilled."
I am now pleased to report that making my own bamboo rod blanks is now officially work in progress with the arrival of 60 feet of Tonkin bamboo, originally from China obviously, from The Anglers' Bamboo Company, Livingston, Montana.
My lovely wife taught my son to fly fish on this trip. He caught this one on his second cast on Medicine Lodge Creek at the Archeological Site State Park in north central Wyoming. Brown trout that most would want to catch at least once in their lives. We use barbless hooks and put them all back.

We have pure-blood Coosas (aka red-eyes) here in The Verde - somebody sold the AZGF SMB BITD but filled the rail car with Coosas, which is cool with me - neat species of black bass for sure - the males "blue up" for spawning
