I just lucked into finding some Prugnat S4 and 62 D scroll cut lugs. It's all sorts of old school cool over here. I even have some fun angular Vitus front and rear tip sets.

I'm excited to get these turned into some modern classics. Road, track, rando- let's make it happen! Diamonds from the coal. Shoot me a note and lets get you on the list. Once these are gone...

He decided to get artsy/ rat-rody with some aircraft stipper.

The long story is it will be coming back in for a new suit when the summer winds down. On the upside, he rides the snot out of it.

Cycle EXIF and David Rangel teamed up to take a look at his Tool Series #1 two years on. It's lived and loved hard, and it's kicking for more. Cycle Exif

Adding some of these to a frame:

First cut- and no movement, no spring. A nice and stable frame.

    ..and in!

I am currently working on a belt driven Rohloff bike. Rohloff requires frame stiffness testing to maintain warranty with belt drives- something about pedaling forces and belt tension on the internal mechanism. I don't really do any deflection tests in house, but build up a frame that I thought would best meet my clients needs and fired it off.

Today I go the call- it "did really well" and passed by a wide margin. This bike has long chain staysbut is made with a smart selection of traditional materials and classic construction methods. I'm pleased that it meets the manufacturers technical requirements for optimal performance with modern equipment and features for real world riding

I am quite enjoying blending modern performance with timeless style and good looks. This one is headed back to Winter HQ for some final touches, then off to paint and build up. Look for this one soon!

New "parking lot preview" of the Winter "Certo" road bike. We'll do a full studio set shortly, but you can see more here.

I borrowed a friends macro lens and took some more shots. Full set here (including the construction set for folks interested), but these are a couple of fun ones.

    Yes (and no).

It's 31.8 round TT. Both the ST and DT taper- 28.6->31.8 on the ST, 31.8->34.9 on the DT (thicker at the BB). Sort of like a CSi, but bigger.
