If I had known they wanted to take in a play, I would have suggested the Studio Ghibli 'Spirited Away' musical which is on stage now and a lot of fun.

They made a last minute decision to see Wicked, which they enjoyed a lot. I'm sure Spirited Away would be enjoyed, too. Next time. Picked them up from the airport this afternoon and have been regaled with enthusiastic stories.

I consider myself somewhat tuned in to Ghibli-related news, but I somehow didn't hear about the Spirited Away musical despite the Guardian writing about it. Onto the list of events to attend it goes.
