I learned that I love Dogma 2s with new Red and that 24mm Tubular Rims glued up with Vittoria Corsas are the bees knees.

I'm not the only cyclist I know who can't hang a towel on it anymore, but isn't bothered by the fact.

New Flites don't feel like old Flites. I can still hang a towel on it, just not for the next couple of hours after that demo saddle got through with me:(

That 7 days of sex is exhausting -- what with all the work schedules, kids and 5am bicycle rides before work. We only made it 6 days (last night would have been day 7) but we doubled up on a couple of those days so we earned the 7th day of rest. Guess we could have picked a less-busy week to have fun with this challenge but damn if I'm not madly in love with my wife after 17 years of marriage.

I think I've finally mentally confirmed that I really do ride better when I'm rested, though I really wish I could ride well every day without getting fatigued.

That all of my bikes that were set up "the same" really weren't.

Corollary: small differences are very noticeable when distances go up.

Falling off the bike hurts more when you're older.

A shot of Dilaudid + car ride home from ER = motion sickness.

You can take 800 mg of ibuprofen at a time.

Luckily, nothing's broken. Just a little skin off of one knee, some badly bruised ribs and excuse to not do chores over Memorial Day.

Well I've learned that oxycodone does nothing to block my pain after knee arthroscopy. I'll try to remember this for any future procedures. I recently learned that I better take it easy for a couple weeks.

The ultimate dirt road bike is steel and has a 1" head tube (quill stem too, yessir). Now scientifically proven.

Don't worry, you can get your 44-mm head tube sleeved down.
