I'm going to treat this thread as a what is spinning lately, rather than heavy rotation. Anyways, Starker...this man and this music, oh gosh!
I should be posting in this thread every day, but at least here are a couple pix to start. Sorry they are oriented wrong, will try to do better!

Bumping this. Covid has me deep into my all time music catalog. Picked up an AudioPro speaker than another for my office (can pair them for surround sound on the weekends).
Been thinking about vinyl for a while and once confirmed I’d have a decent bonus this year I ordered a mid spec Uturn record player.
I figure there are about 40-50 albums I’d love to own in record form eventually and am on my way with a solid 15 or so at the moment. Let it Be, Zoso, and Jurassic 5 Quality Control will be the first few once the turntable arrives.

Here’s a rabbit hole for you Matt. Also, our oldest son worked on a research project a few Summers ago, where he was able to catalogue a $hitton of music and he rated LP’s according to his opinion. I’ll see if I can find the link and with him being a vinylholic, he has a few crates of LP’s that match his fave list…example of the sheet posted. Note the (then) 23 year old’s version of a Masterpiece. Y/N indicates first listen or not.

hey, how lucky can one man get.
That's great!
...but VU & Nico only Excellent?
(And "Supper's Ready" from Foxtrot recalls my pre-punk teenage days and remains a guilty pleasure, as insipid as it may be.)
GO!
Awesome. What a project. I have one buddy who is way deeper into music in general (and vinyl) than I who has been telling me which classics had good presses or not, but as with any good hobby, what’s worth doing well is better doing great.
I clicked that link and Roberta Flack’s Quiet Fire was on the main page. Spotify version got me through a work day but wheels are spinning (no pun intended).
Let it Be was on the turntable tonight followed by Rumors, then Kaya.
Achtung Baby 30th anniversary is a bit disappointing- all 12 original tracks divided equally amongst 2 LP’s so you have to change the damn thing every 12 minutes.
