I received a package of Lands End wrinkle resistant pima button down oxfords in slim fit (I think those are all the right words) on Saturday. After all the discounts, I think they were 30-something-dollars, shipped.

I'll be the third one to recommend them based on my limited experience so far. They aren't as nice as Brooks Brothers, but for the price I don't think they can be beat.

I'll recommend Bonobos. They have a ton of fit and style options, and their customer service is second-to-none. They'll chat online (or phone if you're old) answering any questions you may have - for example, I once asked about how see-through a certain white shirt would be and whether my tattoos would show, and the guy chatting with me knew precisely the answer; they've also helped a lot with fit. Returns are free and painless. One caveat, however: they can be a bit pricey, so I tend to mostly buy when they have sales and codes on top of that. In any case, check them out if you never have. I've been very pleased.

Is anyone else noticing Mueller's shirts? What a collar roll. And a subtle reminder that he may just go full Jason Bourne at any moment.

I always go to Nordstrom Rack
High end stuff closeout prices. Can be a crapshoot as to what's in stock but I have had good luck there. Sorry I know this was supposed to be "mail order" but I like to be able to try stuff on, it makes a fun experience too

Are these MUSA or made in china? For some reason I thought I had read that Proper Cloth makes them in NJ.

    good question.

been using a lot of TM Lewin myself. big fan.

i think the key is having a whole bunch of shirts so the rotation can be longer between shirts, and it's easier to purge out the oldest and bring new ones in.

That is what I do. A mix of must-iron and non-iron so my skin does not get too irritated from wearing the non-irons too many days in a row and I have enough when the cleaner ruins them.

Malaysia I believe. +1 on the reco for Proper Cloth for me.

I have about 12 of them now, and it took two to get the fit right.

But now as I start to see my favorite old Brook's shirts die off I place a replacement order for some PC shirts.

Great source for linen and cotton/linen too.

I've purchased from many, had others make them. I'll throw another nod in for Brooks Bro's. Shirts well made, nice collars that stay where they're supposed to, and the slim fit works for me. I'm not skinny, but I hate bulky shirts when I sit down. Oh, and I think the price is very fair.

He only wears white shirts. They are legit. My first reaction is Brooks but the non-iron ones are a little too stiff to lay like that.

Current BB collars have been shortened, so they don't create the collar roll anymore. I'm guessing that's a J. Press shirt.
