Spent two hours sitting on a miserable folding chair in a tent in the rain and heat with 500 people to watch my youngest graduate from law school. Worth every minute. Last one out of the nest, and she has a job doing what she hoped for. All five now productive members of society. Our work is done.

My wife is awesome (far awesomer than me). She rode to work every day this week, 20 miles each way, no showers, works 10 hour days in an office environment and had one wet commute. Her first comment when she got home this evening, "I've already got 200 miles in this week".

This Sunday is a semi-organized urban century riding a complete circle around Dallas on Beltline Road. No t shirt, maps, or rest stops. The only route option is Clockwise or Counter. Too damn much fun.

Dicking around with (my old) AC stick machine beats not welding at all. Wired an "outlet" for it with donated materials, started welding everyday. Made a table/workstation outside as my shop is wooden. Roof next. Making shit is fun. Who knew they made all those different rods?
