Craig are you going to use a PF30 BB like you do on the Corsa? Or a standard BB shell?

standard shell and standard 1 1/8th headtube. these dimensions were formalized when steel was the only game in town, and oversize doesn't make sense for steel- it adds weight and the steel pipes are "small" enough that the miters work great with the regular dimensions.

Craig, when is Embro going to get the site updated with the CX bike and the inox? We don't want you to miss any more lunches than necessary...

James does a fucking amazing job with the embro site- we've been working for the better part of a year on producing a real best in class website though. it's getting there and I believe it will be a game changer for embrocation and gaulzetti.

look for an inox article to go live soon. both James and I are more than happy to take your money now though. :)

thanks for the kind words everyone.

    Craig,

The world needs more rooster shirts . . .and maybe some hats in there as well. Any plans to bring back the shirt design from a couple years ago?

    + 1 to soft goods.

Shirts, winter caps (for on or off the bike), cycling caps. You said you'd have a sweet track suit coming out, didn't you?

we should have a bunch of soft goods for nahbs. nierman is also working on a kit design that we'll have giordana make for us.

So can we safely assume that the embro team will be back on 'zettis this coming season?

    Hi Craig -

First post on the forum. Came across this interview with atmo on another site this evening. I've read (I think) every post here so sorry if it's been mentioned already. Thought is was really interesting....

if it came to the crunch, and you needed a new bike for yourself, aside from a richard sachs, what would you buy?

I will soon take delivery of a new Gaulzetti bicycle frame. Craig is a pal, a former racer, an industry icon (no, I am NOT saying this shit to prop him atmo), and well respected in the sport and online. He is having frames made to his design(s) and we collaborated on one for me late last autumn and it should arrive any week now. I have two RS 'cross frames that I ride daily, and an RS road frame from 2008. My plan is to make the Gaulzetti my training bicycle and add feedback to Craig as needed.

Did this ever happen? I'm really a steel guy, but the fact that I've read almost every post on this thread has me intrigued. The SS model looks great too, hope you can post some more pics soon.

Waiting to hear you side of the frame you may have made for Richard...

richard was really easy going as a client- he gave me his position data and i made him a bike. not to speak for him, but he doesn't really notice a difference between it and his last sachs road bike. the wheels are in just about the same place and so is the nut on the seat...and that's most of what you need to worry about when building bikes.

    thanks for the kind words.
