Call the Midwife, I can't find any other recommendation for this in this thread but try it. Some of you may get drawn in. At the very least it is the antithesis of "Wonder Woman" the movie.

I recommend watching from the start rather than just dipping in to a Christmas Special episode as it is easier to appreciate by watching character development through the series.
