huh - I need to google where this Second Chance place was (oh it's the Necto dance club now). Odd to see an Ann Arbor music link not attached to The Ark or Blind Pig!Second Chance.jpg

I don't like everything they play, but I almost always like the next song they play after that. Just need to figure out an FM antenna that isn't a ripoff. Their antenna is on the other side of the hill from me. I like a FM radio in the garage. Wipe your hands, tune the dial. No grease on the radio!
My wife's brother-in-law (along with a handful of other visionaries) started this station in Richmond VA as a low-power radio station. Along the way they nearly put the local NPR station out of business and they took over the emergency broadcast network that meant more power than low-power for them. Great station. We listen when he does his show - Global-a-GoGo - which is always great.

In memory of bassist Paul Jackson, who apparently just passed away :(
That's a killer line up right there. You put Bob Reynolds, Sput, Mark Lettieri and Nir Felder in anything it's it's going to catch fire.
A buddy of mine sent me this a few nights ago and while I don't think I'd ever want to have the music on my phone or see them live, they certainly have talent.
If you need a cleanse after that there's this:
Nirvana's Bleach start to finish. I haven't listened to this album in probably maybe 15 or 20 years. The remastered album is interesting. Its cleaner, louder. Doesn't feel as raw but it still pulled me in.
I followed it up with In Utero. Again, I haven't listened to this album all the way through for years. There's something so perfect about it. I didn't pick up on the remastered parts but that might be because I was transported back to age 12, sitting 6" away from our home stereo trying to figure out who Frances Farmer was.
