I didn't find this mentioned in previous posts or in a search....so here goes.
I don't want to get weepy.....but this song from Chris Stapleton really brought back memories of dogs (and cats) that I've had in my life. I miss every one of them....still.

I’m one of those unlucky souls who has a soundtrack playing constantly in their head. Currently it’s Zoo Eyes by Aldous Harding.

Really been enjoying the recent series of PJ Harvey reissues,
these were albums i never owned on vinyl at the time they first came out.
Easily one of the best cover photos of all time...

Shameless name-dropping: The children's voices heard on this album are from two of Arnie Lawrence's children, Jana and Erik, who were age 10 and 8 at the time of this recording. Three years later they were both playing in my very first band. :)
Last night's Swingin' Doors show on KEXP was all about Willie Nelson. I learned that this was the b-side of a single Willie sold via his radio show in '57.

Sturgill X Prine
In a bit of tragic irony, Simpson’s “Paradise” holds the distinction of being the last song ever recorded at the Butcher Shoppe, the Nashville studio Prine operated with producer-engineer David “Ferg” Ferguson. The facility was recently demolished as Nashville continues to expand and accommodate new residents and a stream of tourists. “They wrote it all down as the progress of man,” Prine wrote in “Paradise.”
