HA!!!
RW I baby sat a GT6 for a summer. It had the worst gearbox I've ever had the displeasure to shift. It made up for that in spades with the feeling of driving a skateboard.

Any idea what car this is? Was told it's a Ferrari, but trunk emblem doesn't look right to me.

Saw this little Honda at the grocery store yesterday. Honda.jpg
Honda Actys are showing up around here. Someone relatively local must be dealing them. I can't imagine that the 4-5 I keep seeing are all purchased on eBay or whatever. As I understand it, they are all used imports from Japan so as to avoid the crash data restriction. A couple things make them kind of great. They are 4wd, the bed has flip down sides and they are available sometimes with a dump bed - or can be modified with an aftermarket hydraulic lift.
There are multiple JDM vehicle resale joints scattered around the country selling those things, along with the usually stuff you'd expect (anything cool, Japanese and 25+ years old). I did multiple deals with one of them a few years back to anonymously re-acquire "items" that they were selling that never should have been for sale (the shadiness happened in Japan). But anyway, as part of this I got to kill a few hours in their warehouse. It was pretty impressive if you are a JDM car nerd.
The mini trucks are cheap ($5k ish median maybe?) so probably the most plentiful. I drove a real nice Sambar at VIR when I was there for Lightning Lap last year. It was 4x4, super clean and still only $8k. I want one pretty bad - it was a hoot to drive.
The place a few blocks away still has 1 or 2 little red fire trucks on the lot. If I was closer to my next life, I'd be taking one for a test drive.

I gotta switch Provinces. I wanted one of those or the van version soooooo badly but they are not legal in Quebec. The only little Quebec street legal one from the way back (to avoid all the crash and emissions requirements) is the Subie Sambar in a European version but I couldn’t find one. It’s how I ended up with the 94 Rover Mini but I am still jonesing for an Acty.

always surprised by what's parked on the street in Kensington / Portobello Road area of London. Bentleys, Alpinas, Ferraris, McLarens, classic Jaguars, the odd clapped out 70's era Rolls Royce (must be a great story behind those?). But I am a big fan of micro cars...

These are some of the nicest Fiat 500's I've seen. Great details...canvas top, suicide doors, painted to match steel wheels, central speedo and dash mounted ashtray.
No idea what that purple 'hi-top' shaped car in the background is

I'll be back in that area soon and report back...its an oddity!
